Christmas Tree and Plaza Fun!

We love our tradition of cutting down a Christmas tree... well technically we go to a Christmas tree farm and pick out a pre-cut tree shipped in from up north... but still it is a fun experience and we get a real tree!

We also love our traditional trip to the Plaza to check out the lights, eat dinner and take a carriage ride! This year we rode the pumpkin carriage ride!

Boy News

We are excited to share we are expecting another boy. The sonogram showed a healthy baby boy and we are very grateful. We shared with Jackson by having him to open a box of BLUE cupcakes. I am now 20 weeks, growing a tummy and feeling the baby move a few times a day.

Thanksgiving

We hosted Thanksgiving at our home this year. Everyone was able to join except Justin's parents as his mom recent had hip replacement surgery. Alison, Josh, Max, Zoey, Ben and Em all stayed at our house. My parents and JJ's family also came over to join the fun!

Halloween 2011

Little late on the blogging....

We enjoyed lots of fun this Halloween. Jackson was a Football Player- a Nebraska Cornhusker! We were able to celebrate with friends a few different times as well as enjoy trick or treating in our neighborhood. Of course we also carved pumpkins.

We had our traditional Halloween gathering at our house with a few friends and then headed over to Night of the Living Farm at Deanna Rose. It is always a good time! Jackson, Logan, Chloe, Dalton and Finley all played together and then headed over to the spooky farm.
Jackson also had a fun Halloween Parade at preschool.

We also enjoyed trips to both my office and Justin's office. Below Jackson is with Brody and Mason!

We also announced our pregnancy this weekend! We are due April 26! Our lives are so full!

Family Visit

Everyone headed to our house to enjoy a weekend of family fun together! We also celebrated Summer's Baby with a shower in her honor. Busy Busy weekend for sure.

Exploring

We love going exploring or hiking at the Overland Park Arboretum. There are miles of paths and a few are "adventurous." We normally bundle up in the morning and spend over an hour searching for animals, checking out nature and of course climbing whatever we can.

Events in September

We have been busy just enjoying some time as a family. Jackson is so funny with all his expressions... he will us the saying "don't be dramatic" and also ask "so you wan to fight about it?" He has quiet the little attitude personality.

In September we treated Mimi and Poppy to a Royals vs White Sox game. We have had so much fun this year going to baseball games. It is a great perk of my job that we get great tickets for FREE!
We also enjoyed Touch A Truck. This of course is a perfect event for Jackson who can spot a "worker man" truck a mile away. He enjoyed getting into all the different trucks and cars.
