New Park

Lots of new things this week for Jackson. He is settling into his new home without any problems so far. This evening we were able to take a walk and find the park near our house. Our neighborhood is called Stonegate on the Park... here is the park!!! It is like a block away!!!

Also a fun little update... I am trying to teach Jackson to say "Love You" he has not gotten the words but has started to blow kisses everytime I say "Jackson say Love you" then he just blows kisses. He also waves to Daddy on the phone when he calls. Jackson gets to talk to him on speaker phone at least 2 times a day when Justin is traveling. We also read our picture books with pictures of Daddy. Jackson and I have our first night alone in the new big house... so far so good. We both miss Daddy.

Home Sweet Home

Finally after a crazy few weeks and a very busy weekend we are all settled into our new home!! Jackson and Chewy are loving all the new space to run in! We still have a few projects to do but for now we plan to just enjoy the new home. One of the best things about our new home is that we are right next to a walking and bike trail entrance that leads to a park nearby. I am super excited to take advantage of this.

Some details about our new place. We just moved about 10 miles away from our previous home in Olathe. We are actually in Overland Park, KS now. Our home is in a neighborhood that is about 15 years old. We have 4 bedrooms, 3 and a half baths, a finished basement and lots of living space.

Jackson recently had his 18 month doctor's appointment. He is a little over 29 pounds! He continues to be above the 80% for height and weight. The doctor said he seemed to be a healthy guy. We are so very thankful.
