Jackson and Kerri

Jackson said goodbye to Kerri yesterday. He has no idea he will not get to go back in a few days. We are planning to still play together from time to time. We talk about "Kerri's house" a lot!

On the mend....

Jackson has a little virus. It is our first time with "SPOTS" so it was a little concerning when accompanied by a fever of 102 for a few days. He is on the mend for sure.

This is the other day when he was feeling the worst,
but I am pretty sure he was comfortable at least.

This is our last week that Jackson will be going to Kerri's house. Kerri has been watching Jackson for a little over a year and a half. He loves being there and has been spoiled as the only one she watches along with her 4 year old and 7 year old who are at school or preschool most of the time Jackson is with them. Jackson is only in daycare three days a week. This summer he will get to spend time with "BrodyMason" (yes it is one word but means 3 people), "Gretchen" which means Auntie Gretchen and Jackson's three cousins and Mimi and Poppy. He will attend "big kids school" in the fall.

Mother's Day 2010

This mother's day we had a fun packed day. Jackson and Justin woke me up with Starbucks and a sweet Statuette of Jackson! We then laid around having a lazy morning until we headed out for Einstein's and then exploring at the local arboretum. We then headed over for some fun lunch at Smashburger!! I love Blue Cheese Burgers so it was perfect.

We are so grateful for all the awesome Mom's in our life! This is for sure a hard job, but the most rewarding in the world.

May Birthday Celebrations

We have many great birthdays to celebrate in May!

Poppy turned 65 on May 6th! We had a big celebration complete with Jack Stack BBQ and cake at our house with the whole Wilferth family, plus some to celebrate!
Jackson's good buddy Logan turned 2 on May 6th! Today was his big birthday party. The party was great with lots of fun. Jackson, Logan and their youngest partner in crime, Dalton all had a great day!
Also Jackson's cousin Maxwell turned 2 on May 7th! We were able to skype with Maxwell and hope this is the last birthday we have to celebrate over the phone lines!

Dinasaurs Unearthed

Jackson explored some really old animals yesterday... Dinosaurs!! There is a fun exhibit at Union Station, Dinosaurs Unearthed. We were a little worried Jackson might be scared but we talked for a while about seeing the dinosaurs. Of course he would roar like a dino and then explain "bite me." He loved the exhibit!
We also were able to see a train display as part of the day. Of course no field trip is complete without chocolate covered gummy bears? Justin found this and thought we had to have them! It was a fun day!

Jackson's 1st Bike!

Jackson has officially learned to peddle! I was out of town for work and Justin bought Jackson a new bike! He is doing great and really gets the hang of it. We are so excited for him. He loves it!
