Potty Boy

Our little guys is POTTY TRAINED!! For the most part that is!!! For 2 weeks now he has been going pee in the potty. He is asking for a "diaper on" for number 2 half the time and the other half is going in the potty. We are so impressed and excited for Jackson. He seems to get the potty training pretty well! This may be a too much information post! So exciting.

Spring Update

SO I thought I would fill in a few gaps as life has been full of fun over the past few weeks.

Early April we celebrated my 30th Birthday! Justin and I went out for a nice dinner followed by drinks at my favorite wine bar!

We then celebrated with my entire family and Justin's parents joined us which was so nice! We all met in Warrensburg at my Parents house. this of course was a fun time for all as it was nice outside so their was no shortage of tractor rides.
Easter was also celebrated the same weekend in Warrensburg. The cousins all got along great. My older brother, JJ and his family of 5 are moving to Overland Park, KS in about 2 weeks. We are excited. They will live about a mile away! By the end of the summer all of our immediate family will be between Kansas and Missouri as Justin's two sisters will reside in St. Louis!! Other fun news in the family is Alison and Josh (Justin's sister and her family) are in the process of purchasing a house and moving to St. Louis this summer while Justin's youngest Sister, Emily recently got engaged to a great guy named Ben!

Other HUGE news for us is...... Jackson is almost potty trained (what you thought we would have some other news? Nice Try!!))). Jackson is doing great in big boy undies!!!

Watch out BAD GUYS

Hey Bad Guys.... I am ready for you. I have my cape hanging ready to grab at a moments notice and my water bottle to keep me hydrated while I keep the world safe!!!
Take this as a warning.
Jack Attack

SO.... I recently turned 30 and my parents gave me a sewing machine as a gift (at my request). We had such a great weekend, I got lots of great stuff and am so lucky... more on that later.

But here is one of my first projects... it is actually my second project as I made some baby blanket guys too. I made a superhero cape for Jackson (AKA Jack Attack). I followed this tutorial and it was pretty simple! I have to admit I was proud of myself... yes at 30 one of the things I am most proud of is making a super hero cape for my son on my sewing machine.

I have all these projects in mind. I am not sure when I will find the time to do them but I am excited to try. I have to say a HUGE thank you to ALLI!! She came over and helped me figure out how to use my fancy new toy, sent me projects and has been cheering me on.
